No More Christmas League ?

The English premier league is the best league in the world , second to none .
some people may argue about the quality , because the league does not produce much champions in European competitions like the Champios league and the Europa league .

The EPL most at times fall short in qualifying to advance rounds of European Competitions and this among other things blurs the supremacy of the league .
The excuse given by most EPL managers for failing in the Champions league or the  Europa league is : "Fatigue" "the league is like a world cup tournament " "bla bla bla"

You might think  these excuses are just mere excuses but no they are not. A close examination shows that the "fatigue excuse" is in fact a thing in the premier league.

SHOULD THE CHRISTMAS LEAGUE BE SHUT DOWN ?

yes it's very demanding but shutting it down will be a huge mistake and underestimation of the power of premier league players .

The 59-year-old brought a two-year stint to an end on December 31, 2019 as the Ghana Football Association (GFA) decided against renewing his contract. It was his second spell in charge of the Black Stars following a first tenure between 2012 and 2014. ''I am a professional coach. I haven’t said I have resigned [from coaching]. If I come out to say that I am not coaching anymore that’s a different issue,'' Appiah told Graphic Sports in response to a question about whether he is open to a third Ghana stint. Following the expiration of his contract, Appiah has since been replaced by former Ghana and Wolfsburg captain CK Akonnor as Black Stars coach. “All I want to tell Akonnor is that he should be very firm in each decision that he takes," Appiah said.
