In the meantime just lend me your time and read some facts about the world cup I've managed to gather from 1000s of hours spent at the Library ( 10mins on Google) #1 Did you know the world cup was not held in 1942 and 1946 due to the second world war and its Aftermath? Germany and Brazil pledged to host the 1942 and 1946 tournament respectively but due to the war started by Nazi Germany, the intercontinental tournament was put on hold and later revived in 1950.
